The Baby Care Company was founded by Makita, an experienced postpartum and newborn care professional with a passion for helping families feel supported, informed and confident during the earliest stages of parenthood.
Her years of hands-on experience form the foundation of The Baby Care Company — from the way families are supported to the high standards expected of every caregiver who will become part of the agency as it grows.
At its heart is a simple belief: every family deserves knowledgeable, compassionate and dependable support during this incredibly important time.
POSTPARTUM NEST
Support, Connection & Reassurance for the Early Weeks
The Postpartum Nest provides six weeks of support for new mothers and their babies, bringing together a small, supportive group of postpartum parents for 90-minute weekly gatherings facilitated by a newborn and postpartum specialist.
Alongside the weekly sessions, members can stay connected through a private WhatsApp group and will have access to essential postpartum resources throughout the six-week programme.
The first Postpartum Nest begins in February 2027.
WHO CAN JOIN?
A Supportive Space for You & Your Baby
The Postpartum Nest is designed for parents welcoming a baby in early 2027 who are looking for a comfortable, supportive space to learn, practise mindfulness and meditation, ask questions and share experiences with other new parents.
To help families connect with others at a similar stage, the Postpartum Nest will offer two groups:
GROUP 1
Babies aged 0–6 weeks
GROUP 2
Babies aged 6–12 weeks
